Infographic: Why Coffee and Tea Are Amazing for You
There’s nothing like a hot cup of coffee or tea to start the day. Check out the health benefits of coffee and tea.
Green tea has antioxidants that help prevent many forms of cancer, helps prevent arterial clogging and reduce the risk of stroke, can burn fat and improve cholesterol levels, and reduces neurological damage due to oxidation, which in turn prevents Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
Coffee has been linked to improved memory recall. It may also help prevent Alzheimer’s, heart disease, gout, type 2 diabetes, and Parkinson’s.
Charity Showcase
The Alzheimer’s Association raises awareness and funds for the fight to end Alzheimer’s. Honor the strength, passion, and endurance of the more than 5 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s (as well as their 15 million caregivers) by participating in The Longest Day event on June 21st. For more information, see http://www.alz.org/thelongestday or call 800-272-3900.
