Monica Strobel on Giving Meaningful Compliments

5 Tips for Giving the Most Meaningful Compliments

Put on your compliment glasses. Focus in on what’s working, the sweet spots not the weak spots, to see the positives to comment on.

Seed your compliments with truth. Always deliver your praise in an authentic way. Avoid empty flattery.

Tune your praise to your audience. Customize your recognition to the person, instead of using common platitudes.

Spread positive gossip. Compliment behind someone’s back. When it gets back to them, it’s doubly uplifting.

Say it now, not later. Don’t wait too long to compliment. Say it immediately upon the positive happening. And give praise along the way through a project, not just at the end.

  • 7 Steps to Becoming a Click Millionaire

    Spread the love

    Click Millionaire

Below are seven key elements to a successful Internet marketing and sales strategy for any individual or business. Learn how to become a Click Millionaire!

    1. Help People – The best place to start a business is where people need help. You are far more likely to find recurring, profitable customers if you serve a need by helping people solve problems or enjoy their lives more.

    2. Expert Credibility – People prefer to buy things from those that they perceive as experts. You can use your own real-life experiences and expertise to position yourself as an expert online, even if you don’t have official expert credibility.

    3. Automation – Web-based tools for e-commerce, marketing, content, and operations can be used to run your business even when you are not on duty. A Click Millionaire business system automates as much as possible to create revenues and a worldwide sales force that never sleeps!

    4. Outsourcing – Hire virtual assistants to do anything you don’t know how to do (or don’t want to do). You’ll be better off investing $10, $20, or even $50/hour to pay others to handle the small stuff while you conserve your valuable time to work on bigger projects and enjoy your life more.

    5. Audience Content Creation – Help your audience create content for you. Blog comments, photos, forum discussions, and directory submissions all help attract more visitors. With more visitors you’ll make more money from advertising and sell more of your own products, too.

    6. Scalability – Scalability means that your business can keep growing, even with less investment of your money and time. Design your business to use software and outsourced help so that adding customers and making more sales can happen automatically online without requiring more work from you.

    7. Recurring Revenues – Stop chasing customers and advertisers for money. Instead switch your accounts receivable billing from one-time invoices and constant renewal negotiations to automated credit card subscription billing. This makes collections easier and more profitable while freeing you to focus on the fun stuff.

Yvonne Wright's Helpful Tips About Herbs and Spices

Yvonne Wright’s Helpful Tips About Herbs and Spices

    1. Not all herbs and spices go together in the same dish. For best results use those that complement each other and use in the right ratio.

    2. In cooking, add herbs/spices a bit at a time to allow flavors to develop. Add more until the right balance is achieved and you can taste the difference in the dish.

    3. Store dry herbs and spices in airtight dark containers in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Fresh herbs should be stored in zip lock plastic bags in the refrigerator.

    4. Dried herbs and ground spices can keep for up to a year, if stored correctly. Whole spices can keep for up to two years. They will have lost their flavor after these times.

    5. There are four main mood enhancing herbs: Chamomile calms stress, lavender relieves insomnia, lemon balm  relieves anxiety, and St. John’s wort boosts the mind.

    6. When planting herbs, for best results use clay terracotta pots that have first been soaked thoroughly in water.

Decide what question your book answers, for exactly whom.

Let your title and subtitle clearly convey the question and identify the audience.

Structure before content – Finish your outline (chapters and subchapters) before beginning to write content.

Do no research while writing. Note your needs as you write, and fill in the blanks only after the manuscript is complete.

    Do no editing while writing.

Do not edit your own writing.

    Daniel Saynuk: Guide Dog Rules

Here are a few insights on guide dogs and their handlers (the blind and visually impaired):

Guide dogs help the blind and visually impaired to be independent.

The blind can avoid obstacles such as street signs and people through the help of their guide dogs.

Handlers use verbal commands and hand gestures to guide their dogs.

Guide dogs should not be touched by anyone but their handlers while the animals are working.

To keep up the training of their guide dogs, handlers must use the dogs routinely.
