    Mindless Eating Tips

More great tips from weight loss and wellness coach Jean Hausmann:

Why am I eating this? This phrase is a good one to curb automatic eating without even paying attention to what’s going on.

One thing that I have learned over the years is when I am in a slump and want to eat a bag of chips or some such item is to move.

I mean something simple like pushups while standing at my counter, put on fast music and dance around for a couple of songs (this one is really good), or clean out something like a drawer.

It’s distracting, makes you feel more energized, and gives you some time to think about it.

Then if you still want the chips, which you probably won’t, have a few. You will eat far less of them!

    Eat to meet your goals.

How do you want to feel? How do you want to look?

Make choices each day that support your goals!

    Be positive.

    Be patient.

    Be persistent.

If you talked to your friends the way you talk to your body, you’d have no friends left at all.

    It’s time to change.

Stop wasting energy on things and thoughts that aren’t good for you and your health.

A goal without a plan is just a wish.

99% of failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses.

    Why Plan?

    Save time.

    Waste less.

    Save money.

    Eat healthier.

One day you’ll wake up and there won’t be any more time to do the things you’ve always wanted.

    Do it now.
