Facebook announced this past week that it now has 1 billion members. Here are a few additional Facebook stats:

Book publishers are jumping on the ebook bandwagon in a big way, but they still have a long way to go to embrace the technology and ebook readership.
Here are some key ebook sales results identified by this infographic:
4 out of 5 publishers now produce ebooks.
Publisher income from ebooks has doubled in one year.
68% of ebook publishers distribute via Amazon.com.
For every 100 print books Amazon sells, they sell 114 ebooks.
Apple is the 4th most lucrative ebook sales channel.

The Oatmeal’s Matthew Inman’s second IndieGoGo campaign, Let’s Build a Goddamn Tesla Museum, raised a grand total of $1,370,511, smashing through his original goal of $850,000. In doing so, over 20,000 donors unlocked a matching grant from the state of New York for $850,000 to buy physicist and inventor Nikola Tesla’s old laboratory and turn it into a museum.
