    All Rules Are Wrong

There is only one thing you need to know if you want to accomplish anything.

    All rules are wrong.

That’s it. You don’t need to know anything else.

    All rules are wrong.

Learn the rules. Then break them. Do things your way.

Learn the rules first. Then smash them at will.

    All rules are wrong.

    Including this one.

Yes, it’s always good to learn things, discover things, uncover things, even recover things. But don’t be afraid to do things differently.

Discover your own truth. Find a way to do things your way—with the time you have, with the money you have, with the friends you have, with the other support you have, and with the knowledge you have (or can gain by reading, networking, and attending seminars).

A Prayer for My Country by George Clooney

    I pray for my country.
I pray that we can find more that unites us than divides us.
I pray that our nation’s leaders want to do the same.
I pray that young children like Tamir Rice can feel safe in their own neighborhood.
I pray for all of our children.
I pray for our police and our first responders.
I pray for our men and women of the armed services.
I pray that dissent will always be protected in this great country.
I pray for a more perfect union.
And when I pray, I kneel.

    George Clooney, actor, director, producer

  • Bob Dylan Wins the Nobel Prize for Literature

    Spread the love

Congratulations to Bob Dylan, the newest Nobel Laureate in Literature and the first songwriter to be given this honor.

    Bob Dylan: Nobel Laureate

A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.

He not busy being born is busy dying.

If the point is sharp, and the arrow is swift, it can pierce through the dust no matter how thick.

One should never be where one does not belong.

[Tweet “One should never be where one does not belong. — Bob Dylan, Nobel Laureate”]

I don’t know if I saw you if I would kiss you or kill you, probably wouldn’t matter to you anyhow.

    Money doesn’t talk, it swears.

I am against nature. I don’t dig nature at all. I think nature is very unnatural.

I think the truly natural things are dreams, which nature can’t touch with decay.

In writing songs I’ve learned as much from Cezanne as I have from Woody Guthrie.

All this talk about equality. The only thing people really have in common is that they are all going to die.

Don’t matter how much money you got, there’s only two kinds of people: there’s saved people and there’s lost people.

The highest purpose of art is to inspire. What else can you do for anyone but inspire them?

    13 Rules of Good Behavior

Want to be more successful? Start with these 13 guidelines for good behavior.

If you move it, put it back.

If you drop it, pick it up.

If you break it, admit it.

If you can’t fix it, find someone who can.

If you open it, close it.

If you turn it on, turn it off.

If you have to apologize, don’t do it again.

If you make a mess, clean it up.

If you value it, take care of it.

If it’s not your business, don’t ask questions.

If you borrow it, return it.

If you tear it, mend it.

If you don’t know how to operate it, leave it alone.
